What the hell is that?

That, my dear friend, is the C1 Urban Ride, one of Citroen's concept cars for the Paris Motor Show. Seemingly taking the Vauxhall Adam Rocks as its inspiration it features a 15mm raised ride height, 10mm extended track and more plastic cladding than you can shake a stick at.

Concept you say. So not a production model then?

Officially yes, it is a concept, but Citroen will be asking members of the public to vote on whether or not it makes production, which says to us that it is all but a production certainty.

Ok what does it pack under the bonnet?

We don't know yet, but we'd have to assume it features the same range of engines as the regular C1 so a choice between 1.0- and 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol units. The Urban Ride will be displayed in two variants: a regular five-door model and the open-top Airscape version.

So what else will Citroen have in Paris?

Quite a bit. So far we know of the DS Divine, a Golf-sized hatchback with tons of flair; the C4 Cactus Airflow 2L, a super-efficient version of the new crossover; and two fashion-inspired DS 3 models. And that is just the beginning - Citroen is likely to have more what with Paris being its home show.
