What's the news?
To celebrate its 95th anniversary Bentley has announced a limited run 'Mulsanne 95' exclusively for the UK market. Just 15 cars will be built by the company's Mulliner division finished in suitably patriotic colours and featuring exclusive wood veneers and design touches.
Exterior
Three body colours have been created for the special edition: Britannia Blue, Empire Red and Oxford White. In addition the Flying B bonnet mascot has been given a dark tinted finish and 21-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels are fitted.
Interior
Opening the Mulsanne's doors reveals the bespoke sill tread plates; these carry the legend 'NINETY FIVE' and a Union Flag detail. Embroidered '95' logos are stitched into the front and rear seats with the emblem also appearing on the fascia panel. British wood is used for the veneer trim; the Fulbeck Walnut comes from Lincolnshire and is sourced from a tree that came down in a storm in 2007. The veneer, with its complex pattern, forms a 'ring of wood' around the cabin. To complete the patriotic theme there is two-tone white and blue leather complemented by red contrast stitching.
Anything else?
The Bentley Mulsanne 95 is available to order now through any of the company's 22 dealers. No price is given but if you have to ask this probably isn't the car for you.
