What's the news?
Porsche's 911 wasn't low on poke, and the 911 Turbo S less so, but what's the harm in a little bit more? If you go along with that school of thought, then the TechArt Power Kit made for the 991-generation 911 Turbo S will look nothing but great to you.
Adding a total of 60hp and 130Nm over the Porsche 911 Turbo S's standard 560hp and 700Nm, the TechArt Power Kit takes the maximum power to 620hp and maximum torque to 830Nm (880Nm on overboost). The Power Kit comes with TechArt's engine management system 'Techtronic', which is apparently easy to install and remove, doesn't interfere with vehicle diagnostics and can be activated by a mere push of a button.
The added output gives the Power Kit equipped Turbo S better performance credentials. According to TechArt, 0-62mph takes just 2.8 seconds; that's 0.3 seconds quicker than the regular Turbo S, while the top speed increases to 205mph.
Anything else?
Apart from the Power Kit, a new TechArt exhaust system, which comes with valve control, is also available for the Turbo S. Much like the above mentioned engine management system, the exhaust too offers better performance at the push of a button.
As far as warranty is concerned, TechArt gives a two-year limited warranty on the Power Kit, but on top of that, should anything go wrong with the engine and gearbox, the Porsche customisation brand will repair the damaged product free of charge, under specified conditions.
