What's the news?

Honda 'Associates' gathered together today to celebrate the production of the first Honda Civic Tourer at the company's plant in Swindon. Not only is the Tourer made in Britain but it was designed in Europe, for the European market. Senior management hosted the event to thank the assembly workers, suppliers and R&D team for their efforts.

Manabu Nishimae, Honda's European President and COO, said: "More than any other product, the Civic Tourer highlights the ambition, energy, skill and tenacity of our Associates. Developed, designed, tested and produced here in Europe, the Civic Tourer demonstrates what can be achieved by our European teams."

Anything else?

The Civic Tourer will arrive in dealers early in 2014 with prices from £20,265.
