What's the news?
Honda has brought back the limited edition Civic Ti for a second production run. This time 1,000 examples will be produced - twice as many as the previous version. Priced at £16,995 (£1,175 less than the Civic 1.8 SE on which it is based), the Ti is said to come with £1,000 of additional exterior and interior equipment.
Exterior
A set of 'Le Mans' 17-inch alloy wheels by Honda's BTCC partner, Team Dynamics, are part of the Ti package. Three body colours are offered: Milano Red, White Orchid Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic. Colour-coded wheel arches are standard too.
Interior
Leather is used to trim the steering wheel and gear lever. Standard hands-free Bluetooth is included on top of the SE's usual climate control, USB port for iPod and steering wheel audio controls.
Mechanicals
No changes from the standard Civic 1.8 SE; which means 142hp, fuel economy of 48.7mpg and 137g/km CO2 emissions.
Anything else?
Honda says the first run of 500 cars sold out quickly and expects the second batch to be just as popular.
