The ninth generation of Honda Civic will go on sale in the UK early in 2012 and make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
Before then, we have the first images of the new car, which will be built in the UK at Honda's Swindon plant. This will be the only factory in the world to produce the new five-door hatchback version of the Civic.
The new Civic is a radical departure in style for Honda's small hatch. It also promises a smoother ride thanks to significant changes to the suspension.
