What is it?
A new Kia Soul, but only just. It's 15mm wider and the front and rear have been mildly redesigned. There are also some new 18-inch alloy wheels and side repeaters in the wing mirrors. The centre console is ever so slightly different, and there are some new bits of trim for the cabin. A new, 138bhp GDI engine is now available, as is 1.6-litre 128bhp turbodiesel unit.
Why's it here?
Just to tee itself up for the on-sale date in October. It's not the biggest of overhauls nor is it the most significant of Kia's cars at the show.
Show stopper or floor filler?
You could easily walk past the facelifted Soul without noticing the differences. Worth having if you've got a big stand, though.
