Bentley has taken not one, but two debuts to the Geneva Motor Show. The Flying Spur takes centre stage as being the fastest four-door saloon Bentley has ever made; and it's accompanied by the GT Speed Convertible. The Mulsanne has also made an appearance complete with new interior goodies and the company has brought two Continentals along as well.
The all-new Flying Spur is a ground-up design, according to Chairman and Chief Executive, Dr Wolfgang Schreiber. Its design manages to be both muscular and sporty at the same time. Wi-fi, a Rear Entertainment Suite and a Touch Screen Remote Control gives rear passengers pretty much complete control of their own infotainment; while the car's twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine makes sure they get to their destination quickly. The 625hp engine gets the Flying Spur from 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 200mph. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic ZF transmission.
Placed next to the Flying Spur and making its European debut is the GT Speed Convertible. The new model is powered by the same twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 engine as the Flying Spur, giving the flagship Continental drop-top a top speed of 202mph.
Along with debuts, Bentley showcased enhanced versions of the Mulsanne. The new Comfort Specification adds better headrests, footrests, duck down cushions and privacy curtains; while the Entertainment Package provides Wi-fi and picnic tables designed to fit iPads.
Completing the Bentley display are the 4.0-litre V8 and 6.0-litre W12 versions of the company's Continental GT. The W12 unit is celebrating its tenth year under the Continental's bonnet.
