This is the ix20, Hyundai's answer to the Kia Venga, but with a slightly reduced bus connotation.
The newcomer will get its debut proper in gay
Paris alongside a facelifted - and much improved - version of the i10 city car. That goes on sale early in 2011.
It will be followed by the ix20, a car Hyundai has styled deliberately rakishly and which it
first unveiled earlier this month (September 2010) via a concept sketch. At the time, Hyundai said the car was 'a striking departure from the boxy minivan image typically associated with the segment.'
It has said the same thing again - and little else about the car - but at least this time backed up the statement with a car that, at least on screen, looks sharper than the average mini-MPV - except perhaps for the Kia Venga...
We'll know more when the car is unveiled at the end of September.
