The
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is pretty special even in standard form. That hasn't stopped German tuning company Hamann from developing a performance exhaust, sports suspension and alloy wheels for the gullwing sports coupé.
The wheels are Hamann's forged Design Edition Race "Anodised" rims. These have black anodised spokes and polished rims. Measuring 21-inches in diameter they cost around £8,800.
Suspension modifications consist of shorter, progressively wound springs. As a result the SLS sits 30mm lower.
For a more entertaining soundtrack Hamann has devised a stainless steel exhaust system. This uses twin 90mm pipes and is claimed to generate an 'impressive rumble' from the 6.3-litre AMG V8.
