What is it?
They all say this, but the IBE concept is a vision of SEAT's future styling direction. Oh, and it's an all-electric coupé that we knew (almost) nothing about before the show.
Why's it here?
Again, it's a styling thing, but it's actually a believable one given its similarity to the current Ibiza. In the metal it's noticeably smaller than the supermini though, and some of the detailing, like the lights and the green glow of the SEAT badge, is just stunning.
Show stopper or floor filler?
Show stopper. As well as the visuals, it's also a working electric car, and SEAT is serious about making one of those happen. This one has a 101bhp electric motor up front, capable of getting to 30mph in just over three seconds. It's for town, see. Top speed is 99mph.
