The age of coach-built Bentleys may be long past, but that hasn't stopped Italian firm Carrozzeria Touring from coming up with its own idea of what a Bentley shooting brake should look like.
Based on the Continental GT coupé, the three-door estate will make its debut at the
Geneva motor show in March. It uses Touring's traditional Superleggera form of construction, which uses a lightweight frame with the metal panels formed over it for strength and weight-saving.
Touring is keeping quiet on the specifics of the shooting brake Bentley before Geneva, but we know that the company will offer a limited production of 20 cars worldwide. The load bay is said to extend to two metres with the rear seats folded to make it perfect for well-heeled golfers.
The engine and mechanicals will be left untouched, but it should be possible for Touring to convert a standard GT, a
GT Speed or a Supersports should a customer want the ultimate wagon.
There are no prices from Touring as yet, but a full specification will be announced at
Geneva and we'll bring you the full details from the show floor on 2 March.
