Infiniti has updated its G line of cars with more equipment while keeping price increases to a minimum. The changes bring the coupé and convertible in line with the saloon.
The interior gets a revised centre console based on that fitted to the company's EX and FX SUV models. The aluminium trim now features a pattern inspired by Japanese calligraphy and the instrument dials have a white background, while high-gloss maple wood trim is available as an option.
There is also a new, hard disk-based information and entertainment system known as Connectiviti. Premium models get Connectiviti+, the navigation version of the system. This is claimed to be four times faster at route calculation than the previous DVD-based system. There are also 3D graphics and access to Michelin's tourist and restaurant information built in. Premium models also feature an eleven-speaker Bose sound system.
Prices start at £30,930 for the G saloon, the
coupé is an extra £1,690 and the
folding-hardtop convertible costs £38,800. Premium models start at £35,380.
