Peugeot has announced the launch of a model inspired by its rallying success. Just 250 examples of the 207 S16 will be built, commemorating the 2009 Intercontinental Rally Championship win by Kris Meeke.
The S16 is based on the three-door, Sport 1.6 VTi and comes with extra equipment. All cars get Bianca White paint, 17-inch alloy wheels and a body kit that apes the look of the 207 S2000 rally car. Vinyl graphics are available free of charge for customers who want to make their 207 S16 even more like the rally car.
Inside there is a special plaque bearing Kris Meeke's signature and there is the option of black leather trim with a choice of black or silver stitching.
The leather adds £684.21 to the £14,695 price of the S16, which in itself represents a £500 premium over the price of a standard 1.6 Sport.
