Audi has announced prices for its most eagerly anticipated TT model, the TTS. The Coupé version will start at £33,380 and the Roadster will cost a further £2,000. Both models use a 268bhp version of the 2.0-litre petrol engine.
In six-speed manual gearbox form, the TTS covers 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph.Opt for the DSG dual clutch gearbox (adding £1,400 to the bill) and 0-62mph is dispatched in 5.2 seconds.
The Coupé returns a respectable 35.3mpg combined economy, while the Roadster gives 34.4mpg.
Aside from the performance, the TTS can be spotted by its bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, reshaped front apron with larger air intakes and deeper side skirts. There are also four exhaust pipes and aluminium covers for the door mirrors. Wheels are 18-inch alloys with a unique design, or there's the option of 19-inch five-spoke items for a further £750.
The interior has two-tone leather sports seats, unique TTS instruments with white needles, metal pedals and aluminium trim.
The order book is now open for the TTS and Audi says the first UK deliveries will be in the summer.
