The third-generation Bentley Flying Spur is almost upon us - to the extent that we've actually already driven the 635hp/900Nm W12 biturbo supersaloon and will be bringing you a full report on it next week when the embargo lifts - but already the British luxury firm has announced a new specification for its four-door Mjölnir. This £3,550 pack is called Blackline, a spec which has found plenty of eager buyers in the Continental GT line this year as 30 per cent of Contis ordered have been Blackline editions. On the Flying Spur, this spec sees the exterior brightwork switched to black (obvs), so all of the following 'go dark', if you will: the 'Flying B' mascot; the radiator vanes; the matrix grilles; the glasshouse surrounds; the lower door and rear bumper blades; the front and rear light bezels; the door handles; the wing vents; and the exhaust pipe trim finishers. Blackline Flying Spur customers will also enjoy a set of 21-inch five-tri-spoke alloy wheels, with 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification rims a cost option upgrade.
