What's this then?
This is the updated Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe and Roadster range, which has been given a few tweaks to bring it into line with the new four-door AMG GT super saloon.
Basically, it's a package of styling changes (new bumpers, new lights, new grille, new exhausts and alloy wheels) and some new interior bits. Those include digital instruments and an upgraded infotainment system that now comes with a racing-car style data-logging assistant and built-in track maps for famous racing circuits such as the Nürburgring and Spa.
There's also a new AMG three-spoke steering wheel, which gets a tactile little rotary controller for calling up Sport, Sport Plus, Comfort, or Race modes.
There are no major changes to the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, but there is a new GT R Pro version, which comes with racing-style suspension, ceramic brakes, an optional roll cage and four-point harnesses.
You'll spot the Pro version thanks to its bigger rear wing, massive front splitter and the fact that instead of (heavy) paint, it's sporting a lightweight vinyl wrap in light green and dark grey.
