What's this then?
This is the Vauxhall GT X Experimental, a concept compact crossover (think Juke rival), which shows us how the future of Vauxhall styling will evolve under the company's French owners, PSA Peugeot Citroen.
The biggest design element is the new Vauxhall Visor - that's the black panel at the front, which contains the LED headlights and daytime running lamps, the cameras and sensors for the driver assistance systems and the Griffin badge, which is now made of LED lights instead of chrome (and which changes colour depending on what the car is doing).
The bodywork has been designed to be as de-cluttered as possible (Vauxhall calls this 'Visual Detox) and there are pop-out cameras in the sides, instead of door mirrors.
The GT X is electric, of course, with a 50kWh battery, and a small LED screen built into the door sill so that you can see how much charge is left in the battery as you step in.
"The Vauxhall GT X Experimental embodies the spirit of our core brand values," said Mark Adams, the company's head of design. "It's an approachable concept that people can identify with. It confidently combines a pure and bold design execution with progressive technology that makes life easier. Clearly, this vehicle signals a very exciting future for the brand."
