What's all this about?
Mulliner has been at it again. Not content with jazzing up the Bentayga SUV in time for Geneva, it has had a go at the Mulsanne range. The Hallmark Series is the result, and only 50 cars will be made, taking inspiration from precious metals and luxury materials.
Precious metals eh? No fake chrome here then...
Perish the thought. The themes are Silver and Gold, and on the outside, cars are distinguished by a solid silver or gold-plated 'Flying B' mascot, on which is written 'Commissioned' on one side and 'By Mulliner' on the other. A matching hand-painted line runs the length of the car, while 21-inch wheels in a polished alloy finish and a Mulliner grille complete the subtle changes.
Have they forgotten about the inside?
Not in the slightest. Silver and gold embroidery, piping and stitching are evident, while the cars individual numbering appears on the tread plates, too. The fascia features the same silver or gold theme with a Mulliner inscription, and a special quilting pattern is used for the seats and door inlays. The front and rear seats are finished in contrasting hides, with matching veneer to give what Mulliner terms 'a considered and elegant interior inspired by current interior design trends.' Oh, and a cocktail cabinet is optional, perfectly suited for any impromptu rear seat drinks receptions...
