What's all this about?
Bentley has decided that its opulent Bentayga SUV isn't quite opulent enough, and has called upon its in-house personalisation division, Mulliner, to work some magic. The result is the limited edition Bentayga Mulliner.
Mulliner? Isn't that some sort of terrible hairstyle?
Nope, that's a mullet. Pay attention please. This thing is a 186mph front room, fitted with a 600hp W12 engine and filled to bursting with luxurious touches.
Like what?
Since you ask, there's a two-tone paintjob on the outside, finished off with some extra chrome detailing and new 22-inch wheels with customary 'floating' Bentley logos. The interior benefits from a powerful 20-speaker Naim sound system and a 'veneer concept' appearance. This gives piano black trim for the driver compartment, while the rear seat area gets a lighter finish. Fully customisable mood lighting adds to the classy feel.
Can it keep my champagne cold?
But of course. The rear centre console has an inbuilt cooler, with its very own crystal flutes. A Linley fine china hamper can be optioned to add a bit of class to roadside picnics in the rain, and a solid-gold Breitling clock with a frankly perplexing mechanism is also on the list of possibilities.
Sounds marvellous. Can I have one?
The Bentayga Mulliner is set to be a (very) limited edition, but if you miss out then fear not, as Mulliner offers its services to meet the needs and wishes of individual customers with big, big chequebooks.
