What's all this about?
Jeep has announced the limited-edition Cherokee Night Eagle with special trim. On sale later this week the Night Eagle costs £36,795 with 350 examples allocated to the UK market.
What do you get?
Four body colours are available: Brilliant Black, Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal. To complement the paintwork there are gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels and matching roof bars. It also gets grille elements and fog lamp surrounds in satin grey.
The special edition is based on the Cherokee Longitude Plus trim level. Standard equipment includes leather upholstery, heated front seats and dual-zone climate control. An 8.4-inch touch screen controls the navigation, entertainment and Uconnect online services.
And what powers it?
Under the bonnet there is a 2.2-litre MultiJet II turbodiesel with 200hp. Drive goes through a nine-speed automatic gearbox and Jeep claims a 0-62mph time of 8.5 seconds with fuel economy on the combined cycle of 49.6mpg.
