Fancy what might just be the best-ever mid-size SUV? Step right this way then, to the Porsche Macan GTS. As with any of Porsche's hallowed GTS models, this one gets more power than standard - an extra 20hp bringing its 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo to 360hp. The 0-62mph sprint is done with in just 5.2 seconds and top speed is limited to 155mph.
What mechanical changes have been made?
Needless to say, it drives all four wheels and Porsche's brilliant PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox is standard. There's also a sports exhaust for that crucial One-Louder effect. The suspension (with PASM adaptive dampers) is 15mm lower than standard and you get gorgeous matte-black 20-inch RS Spyder alloy wheels.
And the aesthetics?
Inside you get part Alcantara seats and a new touchscreen (recently seen in the updated all-turbo 911) that also features Apple CarPlay. Outside, there's a mixture of matte-black and gloss-black trim panels and optional full-LED headlights.
