What's all this about?
For those that fancy personalising their Porsche 911 Carrera GTS or Carrera 4 GTS, German tuning company Techart has revealed its latest range of exterior, interior and performance accessories. The modifications will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show this March.
What's on offer?
Styling changes are designed to complement Porsche's styling and cut aerodynamic lift. The Techart Aerokit follows the classic recipe of deeper front bumper, roof spoiler and rear spoiler, along with side skirts with a distinctive sharp crease along their length. In addition there are a range of trim pieces that can be finished in a choice of colours and finishes.
How about the interior?
Personalisation is the watchword with Techart, including the interior features. Door sill guards, aluminium sports pedals and a multi-function sports steering wheel are all designed for quick, easy fitting. It is also possible to take things further with colour co-ordinated instrument dials, decorative stitching and a choice of trim finishes including lacquers and carbon fibre.
And the mechanicals?
To protect that low, front air dam Techart can supply the electro-hydraulic Noselift system to provide an extra 45mm of clearance at speeds of up to 37mph. Wheels are 20-inch forged items in a twin five-spoke design and come with the option of custom paint finishes in place of the standard titanium grey with machine turned front surface.
Finally, Techart offers a choice of exhaust systems each including a control valve to adjust the sound according to how the car is driven. The standard sports exhaust features twin outlets on each side. As an alternative there is a system for those who want a motorsport-inspired look with two central tail pipes.
