What's all this about?
Aston Martin's bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin, has completed the first of seven special Vanquish models for German business man and car collector Markus Storck. The series is titled 'One of Seven' and features a unique carbon fibre body finish. Mr Storck, founder and head of German hi-tech bicycle manufacturer Storck Bikes, commissioned the cars for himself and six other wealthy enthusiasts.
What makes it special?
The body is finished in satin black with visible carbon fibre, requiring an addition to the manufacturing process to create the seamless finish. Special, machined carbon Aston Martin wings badges are fitted front and rear. Inside there is diamond quilted upholstery and headrests embroidered with the 'One of Seven' logo.
What does the owner think of it?
Mr Storck took delivery of the first car at a special handover at Aston's headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire. At the event Dr Matthew Bennett, General Manager of VIP sales and Q by Aston Martin said:
"The process of creating these sports cars has been typical of what Q by Aston Martin can deliver. From a blank canvas we have made the client's vision for the cars a reality and, today, we saw the first of these special new Vanquish models handed over."
Commenting on his creation Markus Storck added: "I'm absolutely thrilled to see my vision for a series of bespoke Aston Martin Vanquish come to life like this. The attention to detail, service and dedication I have seen from the Q team has been exceptional - and the result is outstanding."
