What's all this about?
Peugeot has announced a new 'GT Line' trim level for the 208, 308, 508 and RCZ, designed to give customers the sporty looks of the GT models with more affordable engines. Exact specifications depend on the model but key features include 'GT Line' badges, larger wheels, twin exhaust pipes and a 'RedLine' colour scheme for the interior. For the 308 and 508 there are LED headlamps, indicators and rear lights.
What else is there?
The 208 GT Line gets 17-inch alloy wheels, red elements for the front grille, gloss black mirror caps and chrome window surrounds. Inside there is black trim with red stitching on the sports seats, door trims and gear lever gaiter. It also gets a leather sports steering wheel with a flat base, aluminium sill trims and aluminium pedals. Engine choices are 1.2-litre, 110hp petrol or 1.6-litre diesel in 100- or 120hp variants.
Available as hatchback or 'SW' estate the 308 GT Line mimics the look of the 308 GT including 18-inch wheels, sill extensions and a rear diffuser. The interior features the same red and black colour scheme as its little brother but with TEP/Alcantara seat trim. Three power units are available: 130hp petrol and 120- or 150hp diesels.
The same diesel motors are offered in the 508 GT Line, which can be identified by unique, 18-inch alloys, tinted side windows and a panoramic sunroof. Equipment includes blind spot sensors, keyless entry and a colour head-up display.
Finally, the RCZ comes with 19-inch Technical Grey wheels incorporating red line wheel caps, Xenon headlamps with titanium masks and gloss black door mirrors. For the interior there are part leather seats, leather door inserts and seatbelts with the red line motif. Power comes from a 1.6-litre, 200hp petrol engine.
