What's this then?
Remember the Maserati Quattroporte Zegna Limited Edition that was produced in limited number to commemorate the trident brand's centenary? Well this is the follow up. Say hello to the Maserati Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Edition Concept.
Ah 'concept', so not a real car then?
Not right now, but considering Maserati sold all 100 Quattroporte limited edition models it is not beyond the realms of the imagination that it might produce this one too.
Ok so how is it different from a regular Ghibli?
The Zegna additions really. The paintwork, called Liquid Metal, is new, as too is an especially fine silk that is used inside the cabin to offset the leather. The concept also rolls on unique 20-inch alloy wheels, while glossy carbon fibre inserts adorn the cabin.
Is it rocking Maserati's new diesel engine then?
Is it heck! This car packs a 410hp twin-turbo V6 petrol punch with Maserati's Q4 all-wheel drive system backing it up. The 0-62mph sprint is said to be dispatched in 4.8 seconds and it has a top speed just shy of 155mph.
Interesting. Anything else on the Maserati stand?
A few things but nothing we haven't seen before. The Alfieri concept from earlier in the year is here, as are the GranTurismo MC Stradale and GranCabrio MC Centennial Editions and there is another chance to see the Quattroporte GTS with some 2015 updates.
