What's the news?
Dacia has announced a range of styling and trim updates for the 2015 model year Duster crossover, but with prices remaining the same. The range still consists of three trim levels - Access, Ambiance and Laureate - and two engines, with a choice of two- or four-wheel drive.
What's new exactly?
There's a new chrome grille, made up of two rows of square elements flanking the Dacia badge, for a start. Duster-branded roof bars are standard and on Laureate models these have a chrome finish. Top-spec versions also get new 16-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured door handles and dark metal finish door mirror casings. Ambiance and Laureate variants get the option of five new metallic colours: Mercury, Khaki, Pearl Black, Slate Grey and Cinnamon.
And inside?
New seats are fitted and each model in the range gets new cloth upholstery. Ambiance versions feature chrome interior highlights, a 60:40 split rear seat, height adjustable driver's seat and CD/radio with USB socket and Bluetooth. Equipment on the Laureate includes manual air conditioning, a seven-function trip computer and leather covered steering wheel with piano black inserts.
How much?
Prices start at £9,495 for the two-wheel drive Access 1.6-litre, 105hp petrol. All-wheel drive costs an extra £2,000. Ambiance and Laureate models come with 110hp diesel power and will set buyers back £11,995 or £13,495 respectively.
Anything else?
The spare wheel is now a £150 option on two-wheel drive Dusters although it comes as standard on the 4x4 models.
