What's the news?
Tuning firm ABT Sportsline has announced that it will present a 730hp estate called RS6-R at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Only 25 examples of the vehicle will be made. Based on the Audi RS 6 Avant, the RS6-R promises to take performance to a different level altogether.
Exterior
On the outside it has the same shape and structure of the RS 6 Avant, but ABT has made sure to give the car some aerodynamic upgrades too. A carbon fibre aero-kit, front grille with an RS6-R logo, fender inserts and ABT wheels all make this estate look mean.
Interior
The cabin too has been given an update with a news sports steering wheel with LED shift lights, carbon fibre shift paddles and RS6-R lettering.
Mechanicals
The biggest changes over the RS 6 are the inclusion of a new ECU, a stainless steel exhaust system and an uprated height adjustable suspension setup. The massive 22-inch ABT wheels shod with Dunlop rubber come as standard. The vehicle uses a 4.0-litre TFSI V8 engine, which produces a maximum of 730hp and 920Nm of torque. Compared to the Audi RS 6's already huge figures of 560hp and 700Nm, this is a substantial increment.
Anything else?
Apart from the RS6-R, ABT Sportsline will display its other products in Geneva, including an RS QS3, a Golf VII GTI Dark Edition, and a Formula E racer.
