What's the news?
Honda has produced two special edition versions of the CR-V - the Black Edition and White Edition - and is inviting people to vote for their favourite using Twitter and Facebook. Both variants come with styling enhancements and prices start at £28,400, which represents a saving of £770 over a similarly equipped CR-V SE-T.
At the front there is a new radiator grille and the back end features a tailgate spoiler and exhaust finisher. In between there are 19-inch Orion alloy wheels, tinted windows and running boards. There are also front and rear skid plates to complete the rugged look and provide underbody protection.
Equipment levels are identical to the CR-V SE-T, which includes dual-zone climate control, satellite navigation and Bluetooth. Power comes from either 2.0-litre petrol or 2.2-litre diesel engines with a choice of manual or automatic transmissions.
Anything else?
Honda has created a new web page for the Special Edition describing it as 'The new head-turner from Honda.' Users can choose which model they prefer and a pie chart shows the percentage split. There are also links to Twitter and Facebook for people to share their choice. If you want to vote go to www.honda.co.uk/headturner.
