What's the news?
Lexus has announced its line-up for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The Japanese carmaker plans to display two new cars based on the RC coupé, which made its first appearance at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. In Geneva, Lexus will present the sportier trim line for the RC, called RC F Sport. It will be based on the RC 350 and will feature enhanced driving dynamics and more aggressive exterior and interior detailing.
A GT3 race concept based on the V8-engined RC F will also be unveiled on the stand on March 4. Though tagged a show car Lexus is likely to develop it further to compete in FIA GT3.
Anything else?
The RC 350 F Sport is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that produces around 315hp. Apart from visual changes, it will get suspension upgrades too, in order to live up to its 'F Sport' name. The RC 350 F Sport sits between the base RC and the high-performance RC F.
