What's the news?
Dacia has introduced a new way to pay for warranty and servicing packages: allowing customers to order online through its website. Cover is designed to be easy to understand and simple to order.
Two levels of warranty are offered: five-year/60,000-mile cover for £395 or seven-year/100,000 miles for £850. A single servicing package takes care of the manufacturer's scheduled servicing for the first three years or 36,000 miles for an upfront payment of £489. There is no pressure to buy any package when purchasing a car, as the packages can be added up to a year after first registration. The benefits of any package are transferrable, passing to the new owner if the vehicle is sold.
Dacia's Director, Services and Quality, Mark Crockett, said: "With Dacia we make sure our customers get every penny of what they pay for. We don't force them to pay a premium for a longer warranty if they don't want one. But, if you do, you can "do the maths" at your local Dacia Retailer and now online."
Anything else?
If you don't want to buy the servicing package Dacia also has a fixed price servicing catalogue. Work can be booked online for a range of services from wiper blades fitted from £19 to a full service for £149. The packages can be seen at www.dacia.co.uk.
