This Valentine's Day, Volkswagen is making sure that its new up! customers feel the love with its first ever 'Love up!' event. Running from today (30th January) until 14th February, the little up! city car can be had with a year's free insurance from £99 per month on a PCP with Volkswagen Financial Services Solutions. In addition, Volkswagen is offering a low 6.4 per cent APR, and a three-year/30,000-mile servicing package at no extra charge.

To coincide with the limited-time financial offer, Volkswagen has also launched a new TV advertisement that's been dubbed the 'Tall Girl' campaign. The advert is about, surprisingly, a tall lady struggling to find love due to her height; when along comes an equally tall knight in shining armour driving a Volkswagen up! - demonstrating the car's large cabin space despite its compact exterior dimensions.

Thanks in part to its ability to seat four adults in a car measuring just 3,540mm long, the Volkswagen up! has won accolades such as the What Car? Car of the Year and the World Car of the Year.
