What's the news?
Kia is kicking off 2014 with a bang by introducing a smorgasbord of money-off deals across its fleet of new models - many of which have had hundreds and thousands of pounds slashed from their list prices.
The largest saving is to be had from the Sorento SUV, as £2,000 has been taken off the price tag across the range. This means that a brand new Sorento can be had for £24,695; and the new top-spec 'KX-4' - complete with 19-inch alloy wheels, Parallel Park Assist, electric seats and rear roller blinds as standard - can be taken off the forecourt for £34,495.
The Picanto supermini has had its prices cut too, meaning that the entry-level version now comes to market for £7,795 - or £1,250 less than the list price. The Rio, Venga, Soul and cee'd family have also all had prices lowered by at least £1,000.
A lower price isn't all for the cee'd range however, as existing Kia customers will receive a £3,000 loyalty offer to trade-in their existing car for a new model. The seven-seat Carens MPV is also part of this deal. In addition to the £3,000 money-off scheme, both the cee'd and Carens can be had in conjunction with a 4.9 per cent Kia Access PCP with deposits starting from £750.
Kia has also opened its order books for the facelifted 2014 Sportage. New to this version is a refreshed grille design, new alloys, brighter rear light clusters, revised instrumentation, a new finish to the dashboard and the option of a premium Infinity sound system. Prices for the 2014 Sportage start from £17,495.
The Sportage comes to market alongside special edition VR7 specifications for the Picanto, Rio and cee'd family. The VR7 pack includes air conditioning, alloy wheels, parking sensors, leather-trimmed driving controls and a host of connectivity options; and can be specified on the three-door Picanto for £8,795 - saving £750 in terms of additional equipment. In addition, customers buying a VR7 model can have their first three services for just £99 with the Kia Care-3 package.
Anything else?
The Kia Access PCP and Conditional Sale finance packages are available across the entire Kia fleet, with initial deposits starting from £250.
