What's the news?
The Fiat 500L MPW is in showrooms now with prices starting at £15,795. Five-seat and '5+2' seating configurations are offered with the rearmost seats adding £700 to the price where available (not all versions can be specified with the 5+2 configuration). Two trim grades are offered: Pop Star and Lounge.
Exterior
Sixteen-inch alloy wheels are standard on both versions, as are rear parking sensors. Higher specification models can be identified by front fog lamps and rear privacy glass.
Interior
Both variants come with air conditioning and a five-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Lounge versions get dual-zone climate control, an electric sun roof and front seats with tables and nets built into the seat backs.
Mechanicals
Four engines are available: 95- and 105hp petrol or 85- and 105hp diesel units. The entry level petrol engine has the highest CO2 emissions at 145g/km while the less powerful diesel has the lowest at 110g/km in manual form or 105g/km when combined with the Dualogic automatic transmission.
Anything else?
The options list includes the Lavazza 500 Espresso Experience - an on-board coffee machine. Located between the front seats the coffee machine comes with a set of cups carrying Lavazza and 500 logos. For safety reasons it is only possible to brew up when the car is stationary.
