What's the news?
BMW launched its Individual DesignworksUSA Consultation Program at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this weekend. Described as the first of its kind in the USA it allows customers to work with a DesignworksUSA designer to personalise the colour and trim of their new BMW. The service is available on the 5 and 7 Series saloons as well as the 6 Series and X6 - including the M versions.
Customers can choose from packages or pick from an 'a-la-carte' selection of paint finishes, leather, trims, headliners and equipment. To aid the selection process there are design sketches plus trim and leather samples for the client to touch and feel.
Sandy McGill, Lead Color, Material and Finish Designer of BMW Group DesignworksUSA said; "Just as people have interior designers for their homes and tailors for their clothes, we are the personal designers for their vehicles. We help clients express their personal identity through their vehicle."
Anything else?
BMW clients had the opportunity to meet with Sandy McGill at the program launch at Pebble Beach for a consultation on BMW Design. For more information customers should contact BMW DesignWorksUSA or their local BMW Centre. There is already a BMW Individual service for customers in the UK.
