What's the news?
After conducting research and discovering that 76 per cent of dads would spend more time pushing their kids around in prams if they had a better design, Skoda has come up with this - the 'vRS Mega Man-Pram'. The Man-Pram has also been created to mark the arrival of the third-generation of the Octavia vRS - the fastest production Skoda ever made.
Exterior
The vRS Mega Man-Pram is enormous. Sitting at two metres tall and riding on 20-inch alloy wheels, you certainly won't miss it going down the street. The big alloys are shod with all terrain tyres, while large brake callipers and brake lights have been fitted as well. Wing mirrors are also a feature, as are anti-stress handle grips and a high-beam headlamp for night time walks.
Interior
As well as being unique on the outside, the Man-Pram also promises to be different on the inside; the carriage has been lined with 'sports-style upholstery'. Skoda didn't elaborate on this description; however, a blend of leather and Alcantara seems more likely than the installation of a bucket seat. Skoda also claims that the buggy has adjustable lumbar support... somehow.
Mechanicals
No. There isn't a turbocharged 2.0-litre motor sitting where your shopping would usually go... more's the pity. Instead the Man-Pram gets hydraulic suspension to make sure your little one rides as comfortably as possible.
Anything else?
The likelihood of the vRS Mega Man-Pram ever seeing production is slim; and if it ever went on sale we would expect a huge price tag. Skoda has claimed, however, that its creation would be 'fit for a king'; although the chances of Will and Kate buying one for little baby George are very low indeed.
