Two Guinness World Records were broken this week by a team of gym members from East Sussex - by squeezing 28 people into a standard MINI hatchback. The previous record sat at 27 people, but the team crammed themselves into foot wells, onto the dashboard, and four of them even managed to get in the boot.
Not content with just one record, the team then headed to the ITV studios to try and beat another one live on This Morning, although this time with a classic Mini. And once again they were victorious, getting 23 team members in the car, beating the previous world record by two people.
These were just two of 400,000 record attempts being made on the eighth Guinness World Records Day, an event launched in 2004 when Guinness World Records became the world's best-selling book.
