Renault has launched a range topping luxury version of the new Modus hatch. Following on from the 5 and Clio Baccara and Initiale models, the Modus Initiale will be specced to the hilt. The new model will be available with a choice of three engines, including an all-new Euro IV compliant 1.5dCi common rail diesel, and manual or automatic gearboxes.
The Initiale uses the already generously equipped Privilege as a starting point and then adds a raft of additional features. Occupants travel in comfort and luxury thanks to luxurious leather seats and climate control. Their journey is further enhanced by cruise control, Xenon lights and a speed limiter. Externally the Initiale is set apart from humbler Modii by unique metallic paint and 16-inch alloys.
The range starts at £13,550 for the 1.4 16v and peaks with the £15,055 1.6 16v automatic.
