Chevrolet has announced pricing and limited specification details for the biggest member of the Cruze family - the new Cruze Station Wagon. Set to arrive at Chevrolet dealerships later this year, the estate version of Chevrolet's C-segment competitor will carry a £15,375 price tag for the basic LS model.
Three trim levels - LS, LT and LTZ NAV - will be offered with standard equipment including air conditioning, follow-me-home headlamps, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors, front electric windows with 'express down' facility, roof rails, rear and boot 12v power sockets, cargo restraint hooks, remote central door locking, electronic boot release, ESC and traction control.
Pricing for the mid-range LT model starts at £16,475 adding a leather steering wheel and gear knob, front fog lamps, rear parking sensors, cruise control, electric rear windows and 16-inch alloy wheels to the mix, and is offered with in 1.6-litre 124hp petrol, 1.8-litre 141hp petrol automatic (£18,075) or 1.7-litre 130hp diesel guises (£18,925) - the latter producing 119g/km of CO
2.
The top model in the line-up is the LTZ NAV(£19,785), which gets a seven-inch colour display screen, satnav, Bluetooth, auto wipers, self-dimming mirror, auto lights, rear parking sensors with rear view camera, electronic climate control and 17-inch alloys. It comes with the 1.7-litre 130hp diesel engine only, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Full specification details will be announced closer to the car's on sale date, in autumn 2012.
