Eterniti Motors, the London 'boutique' manufacturer, has announced that five orders have been placed for its Artemis super -SUV. The orders, placed at the Auto China show where the car debuted, include four standard specification cars - each priced at £210,000 plus taxes - and a completely bespoke model, the price of which will only be known when the specification is finalised.
All five buyers are based in China but Eterniti says it also received serious interest from customers based in the USA, Australia and, somewhat surprisingly considering both countries are on the brink of financial ruin, Italy and Spain.
"We were really pleased with the response, especially as the cars displayed in Beijing were running prototypes rather than dedicated show cars, and the quality and detailing will be far superior in full production," says Global Sales Director Marcus Kenny.
In addition to customer interest Eterniti also received a lot of dealer interest with enquiries coming not only from China, where Eterniti will form its first retail partnerships, but also the Middle East, USA and Russia.
