The updated Renault Twingo Renaultsport 133, introduced last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, is now on sale in the UK priced at £13,565.
Changes include the new four-lamp front end shared with lesser Twingos, but with the 'F1-style blade' common to the Renaultsport range. At the back there is a black spoiler and the bumper incorporates a diffuser.
Although the performance is unaffected Renault has managed to reduce CO2 emissions to 150g/km and improve combined cycle fuel economy by three per cent to 43.5mpg.
In line with Renault's rationalised range only one Renaultsport Twingo is available. For drivers who want it the Cup chassis is a £700 option. This includes lowered, stiffer suspension and 17-inch wheels finished in anthracite or gloss black. The alloys can be specified without the suspension for £500. Renaultsport Liquid Yellow i.d. paint costs £1,300 and is available from the end of May.
