What is it?
This is SsangYong's double-cab pick-up, charged with taking the challenge to the latest rivals. It's pretty basic though, both in terms of its looks and what lies underneath. Still, that simple ruggedness should appeal to many, and it'll be cheaper than many of its competitors as well.
Why's it here?
It's here because it's new, and represents another model in the SsangYong line up - a range that has somewhat been lacking in diversity until now. It's no technological tour de force, but it does use a new 2.0-litre 155hp engine, which is around 7.5 per cent more efficient than the one that came before.
Show stopper or floor filler?
Realistically this is a floor filler - though that abrupt styling could certainly stop a few people in their tracks. In the end though, there's much more interesting metal to be seen, and the market for the Actyon Sports, be it in the UK or rest of Europe, is pretty limited.
