Prices and specifications for the new Lexus GS range have been released. The six-model line-up starts at £32,995 for the GS 250 SE.
The entry-level model is powered by a 2.5-litre V6 that develops 209hp. Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, rear-view camera and leather seats - the front ones electrically adjustable.
Next step up is the Luxury model, which is available both as a 250 and 450h full hybrid with 343hp. This adds 18-inch wheels, HDD satellite navigation system and blind-spot monitoring.
The F Sport has a range of exterior and interior changes to make it stand out. It can be identified by 19-inch alloys, a boot spoiler, sports bumpers and a re-styled front grille. Inside there are sports pedals, perforated leather on the steering wheel and extra adjustment for the driver's seat - including four-way lumbar support. Lexus has fitted Adaptive Variable Suspension and the 450h comes with the Dynamic Handling System.
Topping the range is the GS 450h Premier, costing £50,995. This comes with 18-inch, 18-spoke wheels plus the same bi-xenon headlamps and adaptive suspension fitted to the F Sport. The seats are upholstered in semi-aniline leather with 18-way adjustment for the driver and front passenger. A Mark Levinson sound system, linked to a 12.3-inch display screen, is standard on the Premier and offered as an option on Luxury and F Sport GS models.
The Lexus GS range is available to order now.
