For 2012 Renault has given the Scenic and Grand Scenic a new look and two new engine options. The latest models are available to order now.
The new Scenic has what Renault describes as 'more contemporary front styling' including LED daytime running lights. There is also gloss black and chrome detailing and the tail lamps are different. Two new colours have been introduced for 2012: Azzuro Blue and Damask Red.
A 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine is new along with a 1.5-litre diesel with stop-start. The petrol engine has 115hp while the diesel produces 110hp. Fuel consumption for the diesel is 68.9mpg with CO2 emissions of 105g/km.
New features include Hill Start Assist that prevents the car from rolling back when pulling away on a slope. The Scenic range will also be the first to feature Renault's Visio system, which combines automatic lane departure warning with automatic switching between high and low beam headlamps.
Scenic prices start at £18,325 on-the-road for the Dynamique TomTom 1.6 VVT 110.
