In a bizarre twist of fate, the administrator of Saab Automobile AB has announced it is selling off the cars from the Swedish firm's museum. Over 120 cars are available for sale, with sealed bids to be sent in by 12 noon on Friday 20th January.
It's a sad state of affairs, but one that is required due to the company's current bankruptcy. Everything from the original UrSaab prototype to the latest concept cars are available, including some of the last editions of each model manufactured with almost no miles on them.
It was hoped that the museum and its exhibits could be saved, with an expression of interest from Innovatum, the company that owns the land where the museum building is located.
