We like a manual gearbox here, so naturally we were excited to hear of BMW's three-pedal, six-speed manual M5. Saddened though when we heard that, like its predecessor, it is a US-only model, leaving us to finger-flip our way through a seven-speed gearbox with our left leg left only to tap out the beat to whatever's on the stereo.
Nope, no dancing feet and heel-and-toe blipped downshifts on sinuous, demanding country roads for us Brits, BMW leaving those delights to the market that's renowned for long tedious freeways and a deep dislike of clutch pedals. Confused? We are. Very.
