Standard RenaultSport Mégane 250 not quick enough for you? Fear not, as modification specialist RS Tuning has developed a ready-made upgrade for the French firm's hottest of hatchbacks, resulting in a staggering total of 320bhp.
The Mégane 250 was hardly slow in the first place, but the 'Stage 2' package from the Leeds-based tuner adds 70bhp and a monstrous 112lb.ft of torque making that 360lb.ft in total.
That kind of power and twist through the front wheels normally ends up in excessive wheelspin, but we're told that the majority of torque kicks in after 2,500rpm, limiting the loss of traction at low revs.
Performance figures have yet to be announced, but the breathed-on Mégane is expected to obliterate the standard car's 0-62mph time of 6.1 seconds and reach speeds in excess of 165mph.
Existing RenaultSport Mégane 250 owners can part with Ł2,199 for the a circuit-only Stage 2 upgrade, while those who want a road legal version, complete with MoT compliant sports catalyst, will pay Ł2,499.
