ABT Sportline, the German tuning company, has come up with a package of modifications for the new Audi A6 Avant; creating the ABT AS6 Avant.
Three engine packages are available: two for the 3.0-litre TDI (in 203- and 237bhp forms as standard) and one for the 3.0-litre petrol V6. The lower powered TDI gets its output lifted to 237bhp while the more potent unit gets 296bhp. The petrol motor gets a 118bhp power increase to develop 414bhp. This version boasts a claimed 0-62mph time of 5.0 seconds.
Body modifications include a new front apron, side skirts, a tailgate spoiler and rear valance. The modified back bumper accommodates four exhaust pipes. ABT also offers alloy wheels in 19-, 20- and 21-inch sizes complete with tyres designed for high-speed driving.
The AS6's creators describe it as a sporting car that remains comfortable for long distances with the ability to carry plenty of luggage.
