Thirty-five years and 15 million cars after the Fiesta first hit the roads in 1976, Ford has given the latest seventh generation model a light refresh.
Don't worry, though, the sharp looks of the current car are not being messed with. The changes amount to fog lights with chrome surrounds on some models and a few trim tweaks for the interior. These include a map pocket in the back of the driver's seat and silver air vent surrounds. There are also two new exterior colours: Mars Red and Fashionista.
Tip of the range Titanium models now come with a chrome strip on the upper front grille, new 15-inch alloy wheels and a woven headlining.
The Fiesta was launched in 1976 and set the pattern for all superminis to follow. Ford continues to build the Fiesta at the same Valencia plant in Spain where it made the original car.
