David Coulthard has a track record of taking on some of the best gigs going. He's been a Formula One driver, then a television pundit and advisor to the Red Bull F1 outfit, followed up by racing a Mercedes C 63 AMG in the German DTM series. To top it off, he has now been appointed as a brand ambassador for AMG. How does he cope?

Mercedes-Benz is forcing Coulthard to drive an E 63 AMG as part of the deal, showing the car's abilities as executive express and a super saloon. They're even making him appear in a marketing campaign.

Still, Coulthard is putting a brave face on and said: "I have been a member of the Mercedes-Benz family since 1996, and now I am also joining AMG as an exciting high-performance brand. This is without doubt the perfect complement to my job as a DTM driver, where I already drive an AMG C-Class of course."
